All equipment is cleaned and tested before dispatch and collected after your event. For large events with multiple equipment types, booking two to four weeks in advance avoids stock clashes. Prices are visible live on every product page. The Large Order Deposit Scheme lets you reserve stock for large events with a 25% deposit. Crockery and glassware in your order can be returned dirty via the Send It Back Dirty service. Accidental breakage is covered by the Minor Damage Waiver.
There’s no need to worry about a damage deposit when placing an event hire order with Expo Hire. Instead, we run a free minor damage waiver scheme to cover minor damage or loss, so you don’t need to worry if you break the odd glass or plate. We do charge for excessive or negligent loss or damage at 10x the hire price. Please check our terms and conditions for full details.

Tap your postcode in and it will confirm not only whether we cover that postcode or not, but also which of our 11 branches is closest to you and the cost for delivery from that branch, as well as the list of possible extra charges. Heavy furniture like sofas or equipment like large fridges will require a second person in the van and this will be added in the checkout.

Planning a big event in the future? At Expo Hire we can help you secure your event hire booking quickly without it costing the Earth. If your hire charge is over £500, you can now book your hire equipment with just a 25% deposit, paying the remainder up to 28 days prior to delivery. All our equipment is thoroughly cleaned, inspected, and tested before delivery. Our electrical equipment is PAT tested, and LPG equipment is inspected and certified by a Gas Safe engineer. We ensure that all items are ready for use, meeting high safety and cleanliness standards, so you can focus on delivering an outstanding event.
Expo Hire provides a minor damage waiver scheme, which covers minor damage or loss at no additional cost. If there is excessive or negligent damage, we charge 10 times the hire price to cover the repair or replacement costs. Yes, all LPG equipment is supplied without gas bottles. If you need gas bottles, we recommend ordering 13kg LPG bottles for patio heaters and 19kg LPG bottles for all other LPG equipment. You can also hire a wrench for attaching the gas bottles to the equipment. Please ensure that the gas bottle you supply is compatible with our standard bayonet fittings.
We recommend booking as early as possible to ensure availability. For larger or more complex orders, such as weddings or large corporate events, booking several weeks in advance is advisable to ensure you get exactly what you need.
Yes, you can track your delivery in real time! On the day of your event, simply visit our order tracking page and enter your postcode and order number. You’ll be able to see exactly when our driver will arrive. You’ll also receive a text message with a tracking link for convenience.
