Start Planning Your Event Today

Event organisers and professional caterers must maintain strict food and drink temperatures during temporary service. Commercial fridge hire gives you the exact cold storage capacity you require to meet health regulations and keep beverages chilled. Refrigeration units support temporary bars, hospitality suites, and full-scale mobile kitchens. You can keep ingredients fresh, drinks cold, and frozen items solid throughout your event, preventing spoilage and supporting your catering team.

Bottle Fridge Hire and Back Bar Coolers

Pop-up bars and VIP areas require immediate access to chilled drinks. Back bar coolers feature single and double door configurations. A single door unit measures 450mm across and 500mm deep, holding 45 to 75 standard 330ml bottles. Double door models span around 900mm in width with a 500mm depth, accommodating 90 to 150 bottles. Each unit includes internal lighting, presenting bottles clearly for customers. Adjustable shelves let you arrange different bottle and can sizes alongside your glassware hire order. You store soft drinks, beers, and wines in these units, maintaining temperatures between 2°C and 10°C. Their compact design fits under most bar counters, creating a discrete yet visible display for drinks service.

Commercial Kitchen Refrigeration

Caterers and chefs need heavy-duty refrigeration for food storage and preparation areas. Upright catering fridges and counter fridges withstand demanding commercial environments. Upright models offer significant internal volume, between 600 and 700 litres. These units measure 600mm wide, 700mm from front to back, and 1900mm high. They feature three to four adjustable shelves, letting you configure the space for large quantities of ingredients. Stainless steel construction makes units durable and simple to clean, meeting hygiene standards. Counter fridges combine chilled storage with a practical work surface. They measure around 1300mm across, 700mm deep, and 850mm tall, fitting beneath standard counters. These units have two or three doors and accept Gastronorm pans. You operate these units for salad bars or ingredient prep stations alongside your crockery hire items. Both types maintain food safe temperatures, from 0°C to 8°C. Expo Hire requires no security deposit on any catering equipment booking.

Chest Freezers and Cold Storage

Chest freezers store frozen produce, ice, or bulk items. Freezers come in multiple sizes to suit different storage volumes. Smaller units hold around 100 litres of capacity, while larger ones extend up to 300 litres. Smaller models measure 600mm wide. Larger ones measure up to 1000mm across and 700mm deep. All units feature a lift-up lid for direct access to contents. They maintain deep freezing temperatures, reaching -18°C or colder, keeping items frozen solid for the duration of your event. Some models include internal baskets, helping you organise smaller items within the main storage area. You run these freezers for ice delivery, frozen dessert storage, or holding excess frozen ingredients for large-scale catering operations.
