Osidge is a district in the London Borough of Barnet, between Brunswick Park and Southgate, just west of the border with the London Borough of Enfield. It may be defined as the part of postal district N14 that is in Barnet. Osidge has no formal border and is entirely enclosed within the electoral ward of Brunswick Park; however Oak Hill Park forms a natural boundary to the North and Pymmes Brook to the West, with the A111 to the East and the Piccadilly line to the South/East.

The name is Anglo-Saxon, meaning ‘hedge belonging to someone named Osa’. It was first recorded in 1176, in a charter from Henry II to the Abbot of St Albans referring to the abbot’s woodland property here. The land was sold after the Dissolution of the Monasteries and a large house was built and parkland laid out. A condition of tenure was that the woods should supply faggots for the burning of heretics. In 1652, the house became the residence of the Hadley family. They were associated with four places in the north of Barnet, Hadley Wood, Hadley Green, Monken Hadley and Hadley Highstone, though they obtained their name from these areas, not vice versa.

Tables generally come in three types, based on how tall they are.

The lowest style of tables are coffee tables. These are low tables which are used for placing cups of coffee (hence the name), magazines and the like on and are usually surrounded by sofas or couches. We have a range of coffee tables for any type of event.

In the middle are banqueting tables. These are a set size (30 inches) in height and are the standard size for dining tables. We have round, oval and rectangular tables which can help with any size or layout of room.
