Our tableware hire category is where you will find the crockery and related items you need to add those finishing touches for your event. We've tried to group together in this section both the functional crockery hire as well as aesthetic items which will be used as centrepieces for tables or for speciality settings.
Our tableware category can be divided into roughly two types of items - the functional and the aesthetic.
Our functional items are mainly crockery and have specific uses that don't easily fit into our other categories. These include cake stands which are perfect for afternoon tea events, as well as traditional wedding cake stands. Our tapas bowls, dishes and presentation sets are great for events where lots of small portions of food and dips are served and are sometimes a much better solution than using plates. There are also items for the table such as salt and pepper pots, butter pads and vases.
The aesthetic items are more used to make the presentation of your tables at your event stand out, and include things like candelabras and napkin rings. We also have a range of table numbers and stands to help you to guide your guests to their assigned seats at tables.,
At Expo Hire, we offer a send it back dirty service to customers who don't want to clean items before they return them which costs 25% of the hire price. For some items, due to the chance of breakages while cleaning this service is mandatory, while for others it is an optional service. When you get to the checkout, the cost of our send it back dirty service is itemised for you, broken down into what is mandatory and what is optional.
All of our tableware hire items are cleaned and checked before we dispatch them. We use branded packing boxes and plenty of bubble wrap to make sure they reach you in tip-top condition. However, we know from experience the unexpected can happen in transit and as such we always recommend adding a couple of extras in to ensure mishaps can’t ruin an event.
There’s no need to worry about a damage deposit when placing an event hire order with Expo Hire. Instead, we run a free minor damage waiver scheme to cover minor damage or loss, so you don’t need to worry if you break the odd glass or plate. We do charge for excessive or negligent loss or damage at 10x the hire price. Please check our terms and conditions for full details.

Tap your postcode in and it will confirm not only whether we cover that postcode or not, but also which of our 11 branches is closest to you and the cost for delivery from that branch, as well as the list of possible extra charges.
Once you have filled your basket and confirmed your delivery dates and postcode in the checkout, we will show you an itemised cost for delivery so you know exactly what you’re paying for before you place your order.
Want to know when your delivery is coming? You can track your driver using our real time maps on the day of delivery and collection. Simply enter your postcode and order number into our order tracking page and find out when our driver will be with you. You can also use the link we send you by automated text.

If your hire charge is over £500, you can now book your hire equipment with just a 25% deposit, paying the remainder up to 28 days prior to delivery.
