Oakwell Hall is an Elizabethan manor house in Birstall. It is a Grade I listed building, and is set in period gardens surrounded by 110 acres of country park. The house was built for John Batt, likely around 1583. It was immortalised in literature as "Fieldhead" by Charlotte Bronte in her novel Shirley, and has been used in many TV productions. The Hall is licensed for civil ceremonies and has stunning views to help make the big day perfect. There are two venues within Oakwell Hall; the Great Hall which will hold 60 guess and the Barn which will hold 110. There is a dedicated staff on hand to help plan your big day.
