Gatcombe Park is the country residence of Anne, Princess Royal which is located near to the village of Minchinhampton. The main building is Grade II* listed and was built in the late 18th century, and it a purely private residence. The grounds of the estate are well known in the eventing world for hosting the Festival of British Eventing every year, over the first weekend in August. There are also two smaller horse trials which take place on the estate in the spring and autumn, and a biannual craft fair with around 160 exhibitors which taes place in May and October.
