Book RCD circuit breaker hire for your temporary event power setups. This 13A plug-in safety device trips in milliseconds to protect staff and guests.

Securing temporary power supplies requires immediate fault protection. Booking rcd circuit breaker hire adds a critical safety layer to your event infrastructure. This 13A plug-in Residual Current Device monitors electrical current flow and detects dangerous earth leakages. The unit trips the circuit within milliseconds of identifying a fault, cutting power before serious injury occurs. Weighing just 1.00kg, this compact unit plugs directly between your main power source and your commercial appliances. You protect your staff and attendees from electric shock in unpredictable temporary environments.
Event organisers hold strict legal duties regarding electrical safety in non-permanent setups. Outdoor festivals, marquees, and pop-up retail spaces expose power connections to weather changes, damp conditions, and heavy usage. You plug this device into standard sockets to protect sensitive audio-visual rigs, temporary office setups, and heavy-duty catering equipment hire items. Standard venue circuit breakers often miss the small imbalances that this dedicated unit catches. Protecting your venue requires proactive power management across your entire site, especially when multiple independent vendors share the same electrical supply.
Managing multiple power feeds across a large venue demands reliable, commercial-grade equipment. You connect these units to individual catering stations, bar areas, and registration desks alongside your furniture hire installations. Construction teams use these devices during the initial site build to protect power tools and temporary lighting rigs. Market stall operators rely on them to run tills and small appliances safely. Private parties and weddings require this extra protection when hired electrical equipment operates near guests and children.
Expo Hire tests every unit before dispatch to maintain strict commercial safety standards. You avoid paying security deposits on your orders, keeping your budget available for other event necessities. We deliver orders from £40 ex-VAT, calculating the exact rate by road distance from our Birmingham headquarters or one of our 11 regional depots across England and Wales. You receive live vehicle tracking and an SMS ETA on your scheduled delivery day. This allows your site managers to coordinate power distribution without waiting around for equipment arrivals.
Booking your safety equipment takes just a few clicks through our fully online system. All stock levels and prices display live on our website, removing the need for phone calls or manual quotes. You can choose a 25% advance deposit option on orders over £500 to secure large bookings well ahead of your event date.
