It's a pain when it happens but there are times when it's just unavoidable - sometimes events and occasions can't be planned until the last minute. Maybe someone has decided to throw a spontaneous party, maybe the people who weren't going to be able to make it can now; there are millions of reasons why people need to order event hire from us just before the event takes place.
Being an e-commerce event hire website, we know that part of our job is to be as responsive as we can to orders that come in at the last minute because it's the nature of what we do. If crockery, cutlery, glassware or even furniture is needed last minute, we'll do what we can to fulfil the order - but there are ways that customers can help us. One of the things that separates us from other event hire companies is we show our stock levels live on our website. Simply visit the product page for what you need, enter your dates and your delivery postcode our website will confirm stock levels for you.
At busy times of the year, you may find the day you want delivery to be unavailable. We hire furniture, catering equipment and event equipment on a first come, first served basis and because our delivery space is limited we can reach a point where it's not possible to deliver or collect any more orders on that day. If we can deliver and collect on that day and we have the stock available, our website will let you place the order without needing to contact us.
If there is an issue with our website which is preventing you placing an order, then you can contact us to see if we can help further. There are three ways to contact us which are live chat, email and by phone. Our live chat facility is manned seven days a week between 8am and 8pm and our agents can advise quickly of how to overcome most simple website issues. We will always try to accomodate orders wherever we can but sometimes when it’s exceptionally busy or if immediate delivery is required we might have limited availability. It's for this reason we urge all customers to place their orders as far in advance as possible to ensure we can help them.
As a rule, we plan out delivery schedules between four and seven days in advance. During busy periods, our drivers can have upwards of ten deliveries and collections to do each day and fitting in more can be tricky - especially if distances between drops are tight. What this means for customers is that as schedules get increasingly full, there is less chance of a timed delivery slot being available.
It’s always possible that as a customer you can leave delivery in the hands of someone else such as the venue or a family member. We can't guarantee that we can offer this as a way around an issue but we will consider it if it's at all possible.
